    Special Events Supervisor

    • working closely with the President's Cottage /Special Events Chef and management team, is responsible for dining service functions of the President's Cottage and all food service needs for CI departments.  
    • provide oversight of the President's Cottage/CI Events waitstaff to provide the highest level of guest dining service always focusing on modeling exceptional behavior and excellence in dining service.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills and use of professional hospitality language, appearance, and skills are also imperative. 
    • This is a full time, seasonal position.

    Responsibilities

    • provide oversight to the President's Cottage/CI Event waitstaff including scheduling, and hiring.
    • coordinate, direct, and assist with catering service set up/tear down and dining service.
    • act as liaison between President's Cottage/CI Events management team, chef, and waitstaff in providing fine dining service ensuring excellence in guest satisfaction
    • knowledge of cuisine and beverages served.
    • know and implement safe food service techniques as needed

    Qualifications

    • minimum age 18
    • restaurant/catering food service experience; fine-dining preferred
    • management experience 
    • strong interpersonal communication skills
