    Provides outstanding customer service by providing information as well as taking and processing orders. During the season (June 23-August 26), must be able to work one weekend shift each weekend.  

     

    Phone Agent: Business hours are 8:30a - 5:00p

    Answers Ticket Office telephone line. Processes telephone orders and online orders.
    Orders can range from simple to complex.

     

    Ticket Window Agent: Business hours are 7:00a - 11:00p

    Greets guests who walk up to the ticket window. Processes guest order. Answers a variety of questions. 

    Orders can range from simple to complex.

     

    Will Call Agent: Business hours are 7:00a - 10:00p

    Greets guests who walk up to the Will Call window.

    Provides guest with pre-ordered tickets and processes simple guest orders.  

     

     

    Responsibilities

    1. Greets guests in a courteous manner.
    2. Provides detailed information about services sold by the Ticket Office. This can include: gate passes, entertainment tickets, parking, class registration, youth programs, recreation memberships, bus tours.
    3. Uses Ticket Office software to process orders and accept payment in an accurate and timely manner.
    4. Maintains accurate cashier drawer.  
    5. Provides a positive guest experience by being professional in appearance and behavior.

    Qualifications

    • Must be 18 years or older or entering the senior year of high school.
    • Must be able to work at least one weekend shift per weekend from June 23 to August 26.
    • Prior customer service experience required; cashier experience a plus.
    • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and listening skills.
    • Ability to pay attention to detail.
    • Computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to navigate through multiple computer systems.
    • Performs well under pressure.
    • Knowledge of Chautauqua Institution helpful.
