     second-in-command in kitchens, reporting to the executive chef, overseeing the preparation and cooking of food for The Athenaeum.  Sous chefs make sure that the kitchen is a well-oiled machine, preparing food, managing the kitchen staff to make sure food prepared quickly and as delicious as possible, and enforcing food safety standards.


    Leadership, Training of Staff, following proper food safety and cleaning regulations, portion control, scheduling, inventory, quality control.


    High School Diploma, 2+ years expierence in a restaurant setting, proficient in Microsoft Word and Powerpoint.
