A shipping and receiving clerk is an administrative professional who monitors and records all incoming and outgoing shipments. Additional duties may include preparing parcels for shipment, as well as unpacking incoming goods.
Daily tasks – the shipping and receiving clerk will be required to put away daily orders in an organized manor, take out used boxes, and assist in the cleaning of the Kitchen. This also may require trash removal, floor care and helping in the dish areas.
Require that shipping and receiving clerks possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
To successfully perform the tasks of a shipping and receiving clerk, a candidate must be in good physical condition. They will be required to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel and lift cumbersome and/or heavy objects.
